Directions to Cottage

Wherever you are coming from, you have to at some point get on Trans Canada Highway No. 1 and drive towards Squilax Bridge. You can locate it on the attached map north-east of Chase. Please click on images to enlarge them. We would also advise you to print this page and take it with you while traveling to our cottage.
Exit to Squilax Bridge from TCH No. 1 WestIf you are driving West on Trans Canada Highway No. 1, please turn left towards Shuswap and Adams Lakes and onto the Squilax  Bridge. From where this picture was taken, You are about 9.6 km away from the cottage. It is probably a good idea to set your odometer to zero at this point. Exit to Squilax Bridge from TCH driving east.If you are driving East (towards Calgary), you will turn right onto the Squilax Bridge. The sign on the road will point you towards Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. You are approximately 9.7 km away from the cottage. It will be easier for you to follow these directions if you set your odometer to zero at this point. Exit to Squilax Bridge.This is how your exit from Trans Canada Highway looks like. Squilax Bridge over North Thompson River.The Squilax Bridge will take you north of Trans Canada Highway across the North Thompson River.
Exit towards Adams Lake.Follow the road toward Shuswap Lake and Adams Lake Provincial Parks. About 6.2 km from the cottage there will be a turn left towards Adams Lake. DO NOT TAKE LEFT TURN but follow the road towards Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. Exit onto Mabry Road.You must watch now not to miss this "unmarked" exit onto the side road. The exit is on your right hand side and you will notice mail boxes on the side of the road. You are only about 210 meters from the cottage.
Bridge over Adams River.You will cross Adams River through one-lane wooden bridge. You are now about 5.7 km from the cottage. Mabry Road.Follow the side road which runs parallel to the road to Scotch Creek and Shuswap Lake Provincial Park.
